What I write: contemporary YA novels filled with romance (and sometimes a bit of fantasy). I also write MG (middle grade) novels, mostly about monsters and animals that are more human than people think.
What I'm working on now: I've been playing around with possible ideas for a new YA. After writing the beginnings of two of them for NaNoWriMo, this is the one I've picked (and will continue writing after the holidays are over):
* THINGS THAT START WITH B: Beaches, Boys, Bus Stops and Blind Dates
Bri wants a carefree summer hanging at the beach with new friends and a new guy. Instead, she gets a summer filled with family drama, disastrous blind dates, and a boy she wants, who wants someone else. Unless she can turn things around, the best part of her summer will be working at the pizza place.
